Green Forest is a versatile romaine variety. Is excellent for fresh
and heart market plantings. Has high tolerance to tip-burn and
Sclerotinia. Green Forest is extremely dark green in color, having
excellent interior texture for strong shipping and quality. Green
Forest, because of its pedigree, has shown outstanding hold ability
against twisting and severe pronounced high midrib deformity, due to
abnormally high temperatures during its growing period. This will make
packs that are more impressive at harvest time. Green Forest is tall
and heavy when compared to Medallion, Green Towers, and Clemente in
their prospective slots. |
